A few hours ago, a show of the new autumn-winter collection of Raf Simons took place in Milan. We saw hints on her topic on the brand’s Instagram this afternoon — from the short teasers it became clear that this season Raf Simons was inspired by the Middle Ages. And so it happened. The main reference for the images was Brueghel’s painting «Flemish Proverbs— — models walked the catwalk in caps, satin leggings, leather trousers tucked into high boots and bomber jackets with frills and puffed collars in the style of 1559.

The main print of the collection was tromp l’oeil — body-themed allusions appeared on capes, coats and woolen capes. Another interesting detail is the earrings in the form of kissing skeletons — they accompany every Simons collection. As for the casting, Oleg Sedantsov from the group «PICCHI!», who had already worked with Raf during the Prada collection show this fall, was on the list of models.
