Kate Middleton and Prince William went on a week-long joint tour of the Caribbean. On a trip abroad, they will have several important stops: Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas. Sounds like a perfect vacation plan, but the couple is here for work. The trip is timed to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II, and all three countries are known to be part of the Commonwealth of Great Britain (states where the queen is still the monarch and head of the country).

On the eve of their trip, Kensington Palace said that the young couple with many children was «looking forward to this visit,» but later it was reported that Belize was allegedly urgently excluded from their tour due to numerous protests in the country and accusations of colonialism against Great Britain. Apparently, at the last minute, Kate and William changed their minds again and landed in Belize after all.

Middleton was dressed in a strict lace dress with a peplum of one of her favorite British brands, Jenny Packham — in the color of the flag of Belize and, presumably, Ukraine. She was carrying a matching clutch and matching velvet pumps. Waiting for more outings of the Duchess in summer outfits.
