The triumph of minimalism and conciseness in the summer collection of the Russian brand

The Russian brand LIMÉ has presented a new spring-summer collection. Her leitmotif was the phrase «Wild at Heart» — the brand’s designers rethought the key trends of the year in a minimalist color scheme (white, black, natural unpainted shades of beige) and composed a hymn of restrained sensuality and elegance.

One of the main topics was the deconstruction of the usual formal image. So, an elongated blazer turned into a set of a crop blazer and a mini-skirt with buttons, and a full-length jumpsuit was divided into a corset bra-top and palazzo trousers. The collection also features classic costume combinations, complemented by unexpected details: for example, bermuda shorts or straight trousers with high side slits for the smell can be matched to a single-breasted blazer made of cotton and linen.

Skirts, dresses and tops of form-fitting silhouettes are complemented by complex combinations of curly cutouts and thin ties that form intricate patterns on the exposed parts of the body. Much attention in the collection is paid to traditional techniques and crafts, which is manifested in macrame tops, hand-knotted knots on thin jumpers and ties, and the use of crocheted lace. Details that we used to associate with boho and rustic styles appeared in a new contrasting interpretation and became part of the decor on corset dresses and tops.

The main materials of the collection are cupro, natural cotton, linen and their technological blends with viscose and lyocell. The mixed compositions are selected in such a way as to enhance the properties of natural materials. So, thanks to lyocell — an eco-friendly material made of eucalyptus fibers — products become more resistant to crumpling and retain their shape better. The models from the new LIMÉ collection were designed taking into account the different locations in which you can find yourself in the summer. In them you will feel comfortable both on the seashore and in an urban environment.
