All about love: Valentino FW22 collection in pink, designed together with Pantone Fashion 06.03.2022 One of the most spectacular collections of Paris Fashion Week A few hours ago, the show of the new Valentino autumn-winter collection, created under the direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli, ended in Paris. This season, the designer collaborated with the Pantone Color Institute — together they created a new shade of Pink PP, which colored absolutely all the images (with the exception of a few bows in black). Piccioli’s main idea was to create something bigger at the lowest cost — he showed that it is possible to expand the possibilities of self-expression in the seemingly obvious absence of them. Pink color is «rampant» — says the description of the collection. He was everywhere — in clothes, locations, on the faces of models. And despite this «monotony», each image was an independent and surprisingly unit. Using various textures, Piccioli managed to create spectacular contrasts: transparent blouses were combined with «heavy» trousers sitting on the hips, large-knit sweaters were adjacent to short skirts, matte tights peeked out from under the carved lace of dresses, and long coats were decorated with large volumetric flowers. The collection also included the designer’s favorite feather fur coats, high gloves, sequined sundresses and basic T-shirts, which also appeared in the Valentino couture collection. The riot of pink ended with evening dresses — for those who share the feelings and values of the fashion house expressed in this eccentric shade of love. +72 Original content from the site 23
