The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge begin the final leg of their Caribbean tour with a visit to the Bahamas. They were simply adored by Princess Diana

Galloping not across Europe, but across overseas possessions. Kate Middleton and Prince William, with the Queen’s blessing, went on a tour of the Caribbean Islands, which are «under the control» of Her Majesty. For three stops — no more than a week. And… two dozen outfits! The Duchess of Cambridge has prepared thoroughly for her first foreign trip after a long break.

The final place for a warm welcome is the Bahamas. By the way, it is not an alien place for the prince. As a child, he often rested here with his mother, Princess Diana. Top officials of the state, including the Prime Minister of the island country, were already waiting for the royal couple at the plane ramp.

As during previous stops on this tour, Kate paid tribute to the colors of the flag of the host country. This time it’s an aquamarine dress by Emilia Wickstead (already the second one of the day) with an original and elegant turn-down collar and a very restrained canonical cut.

During their visit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will take part in the Bahamas Sailing Regatta in Nassau, meet with one of the winners of the William Earthshot Prize and get acquainted with innovative ideas for the restoration and conservation of reefs.
